Involved as a rehabilitation consultant and clinical coordinator for almost 15 years in the field of vocational rehabilitation, Marie-France Bastien has extensive empirical knowledge of work incapacities and experience in engaging all stakeholders involved in return-to-work (RTW) to collaborate in order to achieve a durable return to work for employees on sick-leave. Her research interests focus on establishing the reality and needs of Québec general practitioners and psychiatrists for case management of work incapacities for common mental disorders.
